ADV1 wheels overview

We have prepared an overview so you know exactly what we talk about when we offer you a set of ADV's.

 

 

 

 

 

To put it in a nutshell, ADV is offering the following wheel versions:

 

ADV1 Deep Concave  (3-piece, max concave)
ADV1 Track Spec (3-piece, max concave, minimal step lip)
ADV1 Track Function (3-piece, min concave / flat center, maximal step lip, in CS form with concave)
ADV1 MV2 (2-piece forged, concave)
ADV1 MV1 (1-piece monoblock forged, concave)

 

Obviously the ADV1 3-piece forged wheels are top end also in terms of pricing, with deep concave version taking the most $ out of your pocket.

 

Behind that is the ADV1 MV1 1-piece monoblock wheel. Single piece forged.

 

The most affordable version is the MV2, the ADV1 2-piece forged wheel.

 

Customer can select ANY of the Designs and ANY colour combination.

 

Within all these styles:

 

Deep Concave
Track Spec
Track function
MV2
MV1

 

ADV has 3 different manufacturing processes:

 

CS  | SL | Standard

 

CS - most expensive
SL - medium priced
Standard - lowest price

 

The ADV SL's are a lighter version of the standard wheels.  The milling takes deeper ball cuts out of the wheels and makes the spokes thinner all to reduce material from the design and reduce weight.  This brings the weight down typically 0.5kg-1kg per wheel compared to the standard version.

 

The CS wheel takes this a step further and is the most expensive wheel line. The CS is an FEA engineered wheel to the curb weight of the specific vehicle in question which allows ADV1 to remove substantial weight from the wheel design (still under TUV safety guidelines) for the best performance possible. CS's can remove about 2-3kg per wheel compared to an SL's already reduced weight.  It's not just an aesthetic change. A normal ADV.1 wheel is engineered under an 8,000lb load rating umbrella to make engineering faster. For the CS, if it's a Ferrari, or a Porsche Panamera, ADV takes the curb weight and removes as much material from the spoke design as is safe to reduce mass and material from the wheels. It's not for every customer and really only for the guys that want the most extreme high performance wheels possible.
